Once he flops over for tummy time (which is often), get ready—because if you stop petting, he’ll gently place his paw on your hand like, “Excuse me… did I say you could stop?”<br/><br/>Rusty is very friendly with people, great with other dogs, and walks beautifully on leash. He’s happy to greet new faces with a waggy tail and calm curiosity.<br/><br/>This little guy has a blast zooming around the yard with the other dogs. He follows them everywhere, joins in the fun, and if they’re busy or napping, he’ll happily curl up next to them until his humans are ready to cuddle again. And the second you say his name? He’ll come bounding over with that bouncy puppy hop and a big smile.<br/><br/>Rusty has already been on lots of stroller rides through town and out on trails for hikes—he just sits quietly, takes in the world, or naps like a pro. He gets *so many* comments on how calm and relaxed he is—especially for a young Husky mix! People can’t believe how mellow and easygoing he is in busy environments.<br/><br/>Once he's home though? It’s playtime! Toys, zoomies, tail wags, and romping around with his doggy pals. He’s the perfect mix of playful and peaceful.<br/><br/>He’s doing amazing with crate training—naps like a champ during the day and sleeps through the night with no accidents. He’s respectful with older dogs, knows when to back off, and will just chill quietly nearby if they’re not in the mood. He’s also been exposed to cats—sometimes he wants to play, sometimes he’s not interested, and a quick redirection is all it takes to get him back on track with a toy instead.<br/><br/>And get this—Rusty *taught himself to sit.* Yep, he’s that smart. Calm, clever, loving, and silly—he’s truly something special.<br/><br/>While he has a mellow side, he’s still a Husky mix puppy, so he’ll need regular playtime, mental stimulation, and an outlet for his energy.
