Rusty's Story

LONG ISLAND ADOPTIONS ONLY.
MUST HAVE ANITHER SMALL DOG.
FENCED YARD REQUIRE-can be fenced patio off house-huge yard not mandatory.
After a rough start in life Rusty is a very bright and bouncey mini Poodle. He is very timid and would prefer a quieter home with someone patient as he will take time to trust. He will be your nest friend in no time. He is a mush and so affectionate when he opens up. He is not at all snappy but we want adults only because he frightens easily with noises so kids wilk not be appropriate full time.
Rusty had a health condition called strangles and was in terrible pain and hospitalized for several weeks. This will not affect his health moving forward. He has checked out with a clean bill of health and was just neutered.

Must be over 25 to adopt. Vet reference needed along with groomer and personal refs. Home visit required.
