Hi, I'm Rusty! I'm a pretty laid-back guy who enjoys the simple things in life. I get along well with other dogs, but I'm not really the playful type. While some dogs like to race around and wrestle, I'd much rather take my time, sniff all the interesting smells, and quietly watch what's going on around me. My nose is one of my favorite tools!<br/><br/>I came to the shelter as a stray, and no one ever came to reclaim me. I was also heartworm positive, but I've completed my treatment and am feeling great. My new family will need to keep me on monthly heartworm prevention so I can stay healthy and happy.<br/><br/>I'm vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, so I'm all set and ready to go home. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who would love to explore the world one sniff at a time, I might be the perfect dog for you.
