Meet Rusty!<br/><br/>Hi, I’m Rusty! I’m around 1–2 years old, with big puppy energy! I’m curious about everything- I love to play, explore, and meet new people. And when I’m ready to wind down, I’m convinced I’m a 33-pound lap dog. My favorite place is right in your lap getting all the cuddles!<br/><br/>I’m still working on my manners and commands, but I’ve already mastered “shake” (and I’m VERY proud of it!). I’m a smart boy who is learning more every day.<br/><br/>Dog-friendly: I do great with other dogs and LOVE to play! I’d probably be happiest with another playful dog who can help me burn off some of this energy.<br/><br/>Adventure buddy: I’m great on a leash and might even have what it takes to become your future running buddy!<br/><br/>Kids: I do well with older kids. Younger kids are a little more of an unknown because I get SO excited and love attention, which can make me a little jumpy. I’d likely do best with kids who are comfortable around an energetic pup.<br/><br/>Crate trained: I’m a crate champ! I eat, sleep, and relax in my crate and stay there when my foster family leaves. I’m still learning the word “crate,” but toss a treat inside and I’m happy to hop right in!<br/><br/>Car rides: Love them! Just tell me where we’re going!<br/><br/>Cats: I haven't been around cats yet, so my foster family isn’t sure how I’d do.<br/><br/>Still learning: I’m a young guy with plenty of puppy energy, so I’m still working on my manners, keeping all four paws on the floor when I’m excited, and perfecting my potty habits.
