He's full of wiggles, tail wags, and energy, and he's happiest when he has something to do. Whether it's playing fetch, going on hikes, learning new tricks, or helping with chores around the house, Rusty is eager to be part of the action.<br/><br/>Rusty isn't looking for a new home because of anything he did wrong. As he grew from a puppy into an energetic young Border Collie, it became clear that his exercise and enrichment needs are more than his previous family could provide. They love him dearly and want to find him a home where he can truly thrive.<br/><br/>As a Border Collie, Rusty is intelligent, athletic, and enjoys having both his mind and body engaged. He'll flourish with a family who appreciates his zest for life and is excited to include him in daily adventures while giving him opportunities to learn and work alongside them.<br/><br/>Rusty is good with children and has all the makings of a very incredible family companion and the most loyal best friend. Because we don't know much about his experience with other dogs, slow, proper introductions will help set him up for success.
