And if you know Heelers, you know that 30 pounds can come with approximately 300 pounds of personality and energy! <br/>Rusty is neutered, up to date on vaccines, house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash. <br/>He is a smart, busy boy who is looking for someone who understands that Heelers aren’t exactly the lets lay on the couch type. Rusty needs physical exercise, mental stimulation, training, and—most importantly—a JOB! His herding instinct is strong and he will need an adopter who is patient, consistent, and ready to help him learn how to put all that Heeler brain and energy to good use.<br/>Because of his herding style, Rusty would not be a good fit for young children. He would do best as the only dog or with a larger, confident dog who can handle his energetic personality. <br/>Rusty is going to be an incredibly rewarding companion for the right person.
