Rusty's Story
We were asked for help by Rusty's vet. His elderly owner is going into an assisted living facility and took him in for euthanasia. He's only 8 years young and the vet thinks he's a great dog with several good years left. He is available for foster to adopt in the PNW.

Rusty has lived with the same couple his entire life. He is crate trained, potty trained and non-destructive when left in the house. He weighs about 60 lbs. so on the border between a medium and large dog. He absolutely adores dogs. He loves to play and is an active boy.

Rusty is very active!! He will need a yard to zoom around in, walks and exercise. He has lots of energy to keep up to just about anything but is also a good napper.

Rusty has been to formal training, so he knows his stuff. He kennels well and is fun to walk on leash, he’s a strong boy. He has great house manners, is house trained and thinks he’s a lap dog. He wants lots of attention and cuddles.

Rusty is up for adventures, and he is good for it!! He likes life to be full of fun! Rusty would do well with polite older kids.

Rusty enjoys having dog friends which is so sweet, since he has always been an only dog. He has already made a best friend with his foster brother Clancy.
He can hardly wait to find his family!!

Rusty's adoption fee is $550 which includes his transport from Texas, his vaccinations, neuter and microchip. 100% of his adoption fee goes to his vetting and care.

Please contact Carla at carlarelf@me.com for more details.
