Russ's Story

Russ is a sweet, energetic border collie mix and is approximately 3 years old. He has had a rough life (as he was living on a chain with no human or dog interaction) for quite some time. Russ is the happiest, friendliest boy with all people. But he does have some anxiety when meeting new dogs, and other dogs can find him "off-putting". He is not aggressive but requires some patience in making new friends. While at the shelter, he has had the opportunity to make friends with other friendly dogs! He loves all toys and playing fetch. Russ is also doing very well on a leash. <br/>Russ is in a foster home now and is friends with the small dogs that live there. He is also with cats. He likes to chase the cats when they run, but never tries to attack them. He would make a wonderful companion for a family. He would love to be someone's adventure buddy!
