Oh, have you heard tell of a pup named Runt?<br/>Not loud like a lion, not bold like a grunt<br/>But gentle and bright with a soft, shining stare,<br/>The sweetest small soul you could find anywhere.<br/>Her fur is so lovely, her eyes sparkle wide,<br/>With clever quick thoughts that she just cannot hide.<br/>She learns in a flash quicker than most,<br/>A smart little pup you could happily boast.<br/>Now Runt has some troubles, it’s true, yes indeed,<br/>Some itches and sneezes and things she can’t eat.<br/>She huffs with a sniff and a sigh,<br/>As treats must be chosen with a careful eye.<br/>But oh! don’t you worry, don’t think this is bad<br/>For Runt is still joyful, still playful and glad!<br/>She wiggles, she cuddles, she trots with such cheer,<br/>Spreading her sweetness to all who come near.<br/>She dreams of a home where she’s safe every day,<br/>With soft cozy blankets and room to go play.<br/>A family who’ll love her, both gentle and true,<br/>Who’ll say, "Dearest Runt, we’ve been waiting for you!"<br/>So if you are kind and your heart has some room,<br/>For a pup who makes gray days go zoomity zoom,<br/>Then Runt is your girl yes, this much is clear<br/>The best little big dog of the whole wide year.<br/><br/><br/>Meet Runt!<br/><br/>This very sweet girl and her sister came to us from a not great place in not great shape. Runt's skin and coat were in terrible condition due to poor living conditions and allergies. With medicated baths, allergy medicine, appropriate food, and diligent care, she has shown massive improvement!<br/><br/>Even when she was in obvious discomfort, she was still an incredibly open and loving young girl. She has done well with all sorts of dogs in our play yard, so bring yours by for a meet and greet!<br/><br/>Female <br/>31 lbs<br/>---------------------------------------------------<br/>Interested in adopting?
