Rune (Community Assist)'s Story

Rune is incredibly sweet. She is such a lover girl and wants to please. She is wildly smart, but also stubborn. She is such a derpy girl still learning how to best use and control her body. She is independent and has been used to roaming the outdoors on her own. Still learning how to be a “guard dog” but her bark will surely deter predators. She gets along with cats and has grown up with 3 of her own since she was a puppy. She enjoys playing with other dogs no matter their size. She does prefer to play with bigger dogs however. She loves to play fetch and can go on for hours if you let her. She is starting to have better coordination and able to catch the ball midair at times. She LOVES to swim. She’s a strong swimmer and can paddle for 15 minutes without stopping if you let her. She does well off leash and stays close by. She does decently on the leash but could use more coaching and consistency. She is dog door trained but also house trained.

DOB: 11/19/25

If interested in Rune, please fill out an adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/MFAR/42224-mfar-adoption-application

Rune is a Community Assist animal.
