Meet Ruger!<br/><br/>Ruger was surrendered to us this Summer and has become quite a favorite among the K9 staff. He is a 6 year old Hound mix and is very friendly. He walks well on a leash and has done well learning basic commands.<br/><br/>Ruger is interested in other dogs so there is potential for him to go to a home with another dog, given proper introduction. We do not know his history with children but think he would do well in a home with older kids. He is crate and house trained. He settles well in his kennel and has not been destructive with bedding. He is still learning basic commands but with continued effort he is a very fast student.<br/><br/>Ruger does well in the car and has been easy to handle for vet appointments.
