JJ calls her and says he found a dog dumped bunkered down in the woods near our house on the way to get me. He stayed with the dog and talked to him trying to make him comfortable, watching for any patterns of movement. He would stay in a 5 foot area. He kept laying down and hiding behind things. JJ got a photo of him behind the tree sticks and sent it to me. A volunteer came to set a trap while JJ picked up Racheal. Racheal and the volunteer sat near by all night waiting to see if he would go into the trap. This poor pup did not go into the trap. He hid for the rest of the evening.
Racheal set out a face book post to find the dog and alert any potential owner of him running at large. The next morning, someone traveling to work said they seen him right where we did. They stayed with him, were able to get close enough to interact to obtain him. They coaxed him into their vehicle along the side of the road. They saw my post and contacted me to get him to safety. We posted looking for an owner and no one came forward with any information regarding this poor dog dumped on the side of the road. Where he was, he was clearly dumped and terrified to move. He was waiting for his human to come back. Little did he know, he started a new life of love and understanding here at NPLB.

Included in the adoption all dogs will have completed or be scheduled to be completed for the following:
- Spayed / Neutered
- Rabies Vaccine
- Distemper Vaccine
- Current on Flea medication
- Dewormed
- Microchipped
- Heartworm & Limes Disease tested

To ADOPT:
email NPLBrescue@gmail.com
or
call 724-393-0348
include your contact information [name, phone number, email and zip code].
