He got adopted... sadly, I didn't. When that shelter ran out of space and I was at risk for euthanasia, I was transferred here for another chance. It's been a big change for me, and shelter life hasn't exactly shown the best side of who I am.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>In my kennel, I can come across as loud and intense. But that's not really me... that's just me trying to handle a stressful environment. Outside of it, I'm a completely different dog.<br/><br/>I'm laid back, gentle, and incredibly loving. I love playing ball, leaning into my people, and giving soft kisses. Once I trust you, I don't just like you... I bond with you.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I've lived with other dogs before and may do well with the right match and proper introductions. I'm not a fan of cats or small animals.<br/><br/>I do best in a calmer, more predictable home. Busy environments with lots of commotion can make me a little nervous, especially around young kids, so I'm looking for a home without small children or frequent visitors coming and going.<br/><br/>I'm the kind of dog who:<br/>• prefers quiet over chaos<br/>• bonds deeply with his person<br/>• is happiest with a ball, some love, and a place to relax<br/><br/>I also have a poultry allergy, which means I need to avoid foods and treats containing chicken, turkey, or duck. Before coming here, I was being fed food that didn't agree with me, which led to a skin infection.
