He currently visits a care home 1 to 2 times a week. <br/>He's the highlight of the day when he goes. Rufus loves to give hugs. He's such a people dog person. <br/><br/>He loves meeting other dogs and he is good with cats too. Toilet trained and quiet in the home. He's very easy to care for. <br/><br/>This dog will make a great companion for anyone. He has no symptoms from his heart murmur. Hard to believe he does have a severe one. No one would ever guess. Many dogs can live for years and years with one.<br/> <br/>Due to his condition, Snookie's Society is only asking half the adoption fee to help cover some of the vetting cost.<br/> <br/>Rufus' Must Haves:<br/><br/>Knowledge/experience with the breed/ similar breed<br/>Familiar with hesrt murmur in dogs<br/>Flexible work schedule. <br/>A vet reference/pet professional reference is required <br/>A fully fenced backyard preferred but not a must<br/><br/>Please introduce yourself and if it sounds like a good fit, we will send you you an application.
