Meet Rufus! <br/>Rufus is a charming 1-1.5 year old chocolate Shih Tzu who came to us at AAA Dog Rescue along with Rosie, the sweet girl we believe is his mom. These two were found together and have been inseparable ever since — they truly light up around each other!<br/>After arriving in rescue, Rufus got a much-needed makeover. He was severely matted and overgrown, plus dealing with fleas and ticks, but hes now a clean, fluffy, and very handsome little guy. Hell be neutered this week and will be ready for his forever home (or homes) shortly after.<br/>This little love bug is as playful as he is affectionate. Hes still very puppyish — he loves putting everything in his mouth, playing tug-of-war with Rosie (especially with an old sock!), and chasing after his favorite toys. Rufus gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets and has a heart full of love to give. Hes the perfect combination of snuggly lap dog and energetic playmate.<br/>Because Rufus and Rosie are so clearly bonded and love each others company, we strongly prefer to adopt them together.
