Rufus Terrier Mix Monroe, GA

Rufus is a cute, scruffy little guy. He weighs 15 lbs. and is a year old. Rufus is cautious meeting new people, and for that reason should not be placed in a home with children under 12 years of age. He can growl at strangers and bark if they approach too quickly. The best way to meet Rufus is with a pocket full of doggy treats and a sweet calming voice. He barked and growled at his foster mom when they meet, but by the next day, he was her best friend. He's a great snuggler in bed and very affectionate with his sweet kisses. Rufus loves to play with the resident dogs, but doesn't like cats. He is very confident in his foster home now - it's just new surroundings that scare him. He always keeps his crate clean at night and seems to be about housetrained now. Rufus requires a fenced-in-yard as he is very active. Come meet this special boy but be prepared to be patient, and let him come to you on his terms, and you will have a wonderful companion for the rest of his life.
Adoption fee: $295. Alcovy dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped. Required registration of microchip in owner's name is $11.99.
