Rufio's Story

Meet Rufio, a handsome 5-month-old male shepherd whose shy demeanor, a remnant of a difficult past, quickly gives way to an endearing, energetic spirit. Having overcome a rough start, Rufio initially presents as a bit timid, but once comfortable, he transforms into an "energizer bunny," full of playful zest. As a still-growing puppy, he is making great strides with potty training and is already kennel trained, though he may vocalize briefly when first settled. He has shown interest in cats, often forgetting his size, so a feline friend who can gently set boundaries would be ideal. Furthermore, Rufio has interacted positively with other dogs, demonstrating a keen ability to pick up on their social cues. This sweet, adaptable boy is ready to find his forever family; fill out an application today to bring Rufio’s loving energy into your home.
