Rue's Story

Rue is a striking, lanky boy whose personality is as expressive as his magnificent "satellite" ears. A playful spirit with a sensitive soul, Rue lives for the fun of a good outdoor romp and the simple joy of exploring the world alongside his favorite humans.

While he radiates athletic energy, Rue thrives on soft voices and gentle handling. Because he prefers a predictable, calm environment, he is looking for an adult-only home or one with respectful older children.

Rue has been very popular for fieldtrips and sleepovers, with feedback including:
"Such a sweetie! Masterful snuggler. Clearly showed signs of some training. My kids adored him. House trained, no accidents! We would gladly have him over again. "
"Rue was so awesome in sleepover last night! Rue likes to be close and cuddle. If there is a free hand, it should be petting him. But he is not a velcro dog and would move to explore the house while always coming back to check on me."
"Rue was such a special dog to spend time with-he had me laughing the entire time! Even with all his energy, he knows how to settle-he will sit and lie down when asked, which was great to see. He is very well-mannered. Thank you so much for the opportunity to spend time with Rue-I had an amazing time with him!"
Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 46.6lbs Age: 1yrs 6mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
