Rue's Story
We first knew Rue as Mama Rue; and boy was she a natural!
She came to us just one week after delivering her 3 puppies, and took right to her role of attentive, loving, and protective mother.

She was quite nervous with people; but once she had a minute to make sure you were ok she went from nervous to happily bouncing around; as for the resident dogs; she kept them a good 5 feet away from her puppy pen; but as the pups got older and more playful she slowly allowed the other dogs to get closer.

Although it’s been difficult not calling her “mama”, she is certainly so much more than that! As just a young girl herself it’s been fun watching her come into her own.

Rue is full of spunk and personality!
She loves to play with toys and organize them into piles; she maybe a borderline hoarder, but we think it’s a cute quirk.
She loves to do zoomies twice a day.
She loves kids, loves belly rubs, and is very cuddly.

I think Rue would do fine in most households; but it will take her some time to settle in.
She is a barker when a new person comes over.

We have made a ton of progress with potty training but she still needs some reminders if the house is busy.

Rue and her son Abe get along amazing and love to play together. They could be a great duo to adopt together.

Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong.
For more information or to schedule an appointment contact Animal Rescue Recon (925) 392-7654 -----
Hello, thank you for your inquiry.
Below you will find our questionnaire along with some info. Rue is full of spunk and personality!
She loves to play with toys and organize them into piles; she maybe a borderline hoarder, but we think it’s a cute quirk.
She loves to do zoomies twice a day.
She loves kids, loves belly rubs, and is very cuddly.
I think Rue would do fine in most households; but it will take
