Rudy's Story

**Courtesy Listing:** Rudy is not an ARF foster dog. He is being rehomed by his owner, and ARF is helping spread the word to find him his perfect forever home.

Rudy is a 9-month-old tan pup with short legs, a big personality, and four white paws that look like he's always wearing socks.

He's fully vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. All he needs now is a family of his own.

Rudy is the kind of dog who gets along with just about everyone. He loves other dogs, does well with cats, and is always excited to make a new friend. He's housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash.

He's also a smart little guy. Rudy already knows sit, down, shake, and even how to give a high-10. He's eager to learn and loves having a job to do, especially if treats are involved. One of his favorite tricks is dramatically rolling over and playing dead when he wants attention.

When he's not showing off his manners, Rudy enjoys the finer things in life, like running around outside, splashing in the river, and systematically dismantling squeaky toys. Plush toys don't stand much of a chance in his care, but watching him proudly carry around the remains is part of his charm.

Rudy would love a home where he can be part of the action, whether that's hiking, exploring, training, or just hanging out with his people. He's a fun, happy dog with a lot of love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an active best friend.

If you're looking for a smart, affectionate dog with plenty of personality packed into a low-riding package, Rudy would love to meet you.

Interested in giving Rudy a home?
