Rudy is a sweet, affectionate chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua mix) who is approx. 3 years old and weighs 14lbs. This boy is ready for a fresh start. Rudy adores cozy blankets, being close to his people, and soaking up attention. He’s currently healing from minor dermatitis and is doing great with loving care. He's been extremely sweet with kids in the home, is crate trained and doing well with house training. Rudy walks well on a leash and loves to go for walks. He is a bit barky to other dogs at a distance, and although his foster mom doesn't have other dogs, we believe he will be fine once he gets to know a friendly doggy friend. He hasn't started playing with toys yet, but does love his Benebone. He rides well in a car, and sleeps quietly through the night. Rudy is a loyal, cuddly companion who believes in second chances.
