Ruckus's Story
Ruckus

DOB July 10th 2025
Approx weight - 67 lbs
Approx 22" at the shoulder

Ruckus is the kind of dog who wakes up every morning convinced that today is going to be the greatest day ever and he brings everyone around him along for the ride.

Born July 10, 2025, this lovable young guy is full of personality, laughter, and heart. He approaches life with pure joy and enthusiasm, whether he's heading out for a walk, chasing a toy, meeting new people, or simply following his favorite humans around the house. His foster mom says he makes her laugh every day, and it's impossible not to smile when you're around him.

Ruckus is fully house and kennel trained. He has great household manners, knows how to sit, and walks wonderfully on leash. While he can be a little rambunctious when he's excited, he's learning that not every moment calls for maximum excitementand he's making great progress.

Ruckus never turns down the chance to be close to his humans. In fact, if Ruckus had his way, personal space would be completely optional. He's a world-class cuddler and is learning that sometimes affection has to wait until after life's important tasks are finished.

When playtime rolls around, Ruckus is always ready. He loves fetch, but is also perfectly happy entertaining himself by tossing a toy around or with a good chew toy. He's still polishing up the "return" portion of fetch, but his commitment to the chase is second to none.

Ruckus gets along well with other dogs after a controlled introduction. However a home with other male dogs would not be preferred. Cats, however, are not on his list of approved roommates. Because he's still a young dog who occasionally forgets his own size, he'd do best with older children who can comfortably handle his playful enthusiasm.

One of the best things about Ruckus is that he's not an endless-energy dog. Give him a good walk, some playtime, and a chance to stretch his legs, and he's more than happy to spend the rest of the day snoozing on the couch beside his people or watching the world go by out the window.

Ruckus is looking for a home that will appreciate him for exactly who he is: a joyful, affectionate, goofy dog with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. If you're searching for a companion who will keep you laughing, keep you company, and remind you to enjoy the little things, Ruckus is ready to be your best friend.

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated.
