Ruckus's Story
Ruckus

DOB July 10th 2025
67 lbs
Approx 22" at the shoulder

Meet Ruckus a big-hearted, goofy young pup who approaches every part of life with the excitement and enthusiasm of a child on Christmas morning. Whether its going for a walk, meeting new people, chasing a toy, or simply following his humans around the house, Ruckus throws his whole heart into everything he does.

Ruckus is fully house trained and kennel trained, and he walks very nicely on leash. He already knows sit and is currently working hard on other basic commands. He absolutely loves to play, especially fetch, though hes still figuring out that bringing the toy back is part of the game. When playtime is over, hes more than happy to entertain himself with a durable chew toy before curling up far too close for cuddles personal space is not exactly his specialty.

This affectionate boy adores people and gets along well with other dogs, but he will need a strictly cat-free home. Because he can sometimes forget just how big and rambunctious he is, Ruckus would do best with older children who can handle his enthusiastic personality. Despite his energy, he is polite when meeting new people and does not jump up.

Ruckus came into care severely underweight, and as a result he developed some food guarding behaviors around other dogs. He has never shown these behaviors toward humans, and the issue is easily managed. He has already made great progress as he learns that he no longer has to worry about where his next meal is coming from.

Ruckus is looking for an active, patient family that will continue guiding him as he grows into the amazing dog he is already becoming. In return, he promises endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and more love than you could ever ask for.

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated.
