****We are Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S) – Stephenville, TX - We are a small, foster based animal rescue, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Stephenville, TX. We work to rehabilitate and rehome unwanted cats and dogs in Stephenville and surrounding towns. We have recently expanded our scope to include Hamilton County, TX and are currently working with the City of Hamilton and the Hico Police Department to find loving foster and permanent homes for dogs that have been abandoned and have ended up in the Hamilton Pound or the Hico Animal Shelter. <br/> Pets Are Worth Saving (P.A.W.S.)’s mission is to sponsor low cost spay/neuter and wellness exams, provide community education and provide food and supplies to those in need. We also do our best to find loving homes for abandoned, neglected, or abused animals. Our animals are vaccinated and on preventatives. I'm practically perfect in every way. If you’re looking for a companion who combines a gentle nature with impeccable manners, I’m your girl!<br/><br/>🏡 Life in My Foster Home:<br/> I’ve been staying on a farm where I’m learning how wonderful life can be. I currently live with dogs, a cat, horses, cows, and donkeys. My foster siblings are helping me learn how to just be a dog again, and I’ve realized that love and kindness are the two things I needed most to thrive.<br/><br/>🌟 Why I’m a "Good Girl": <br/>House Trained: I’ve got the hang of this! No accidents here. <br/><br/>Great on Leash: I’m ready to help you meet your exercise goals by being a faithful, wonderful walking companion. <br/><br/>Smart & Eager: I already know "sit" and "lie down," and my foster mom says I’m very intelligent and love learning new things. Animal Friendly: I love my foster pack (dogs and cats alike!) and enjoy running and playing with them.<br/><br/> <br/>Adventure Ready: I used to be unsure about car rides, but now they are one of my favorite things! <br/><br/>Healthy and Happy: I’m up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and on preventatives against nasty parasites.<br/><br/>💖 My Special "Ruby Quirks" I have a few ways of showing you just how much I love you: <br/><br/>The Ruby Smile: I scrunch up my nose and "smile" when I’m happy to see you. <br/><br/>The Gentle Nudge: If you stop patting my head for too long, I’ll give your leg a tiny nose-bump to remind you I’m still here! <br/>Cuddle Bug: I’m a professional couch-cuddler and a very quiet sleeper in my soft bed all night long. <br/><br/>🎾 What I’m Working On: I’m currently learning to love my crate and practicing my ball-chasing skills. Right now, I love running with the other dogs when they chase the ball—I haven’t quite mastered catching it yet, but I’ll get there soon! <br/><br/>I promise to be the "bestest" girl for the family lucky enough to take me home.
