Ruby's Story

Ruby is a Heeler/Husky mix who, along with her littermates, has made a full recovery after being dumped at a young age. Now healthy and happy, she's ready to find her forever family.

Ruby loves wrestling with her sister and is sure to bring smiles with her signature squinty excited smile. She gets along well with other dogs and people, though, like all younger dogs, she's still in the teething phase. She'll need plenty of chew toys and playtime to keep her out of trouble and away from your shoes. Ruby is a year-round water dog but she especially loves swimming in the hotter months.

She would do best in a home with someone who has time for continued training, potty breaks, and plenty of mental stimulation through walks, toys, and adventures.
