RUBY's Story

Meet Ruby, a sweet and gentle little girl who's a bit small for her breed but makes up for it with her love, devotion, and kisses! Quiet as a mouse and content playing with her toys, exploring, and snuggling! She has great leash manners (no pulling!) and tends to stop every few feet or so to make sure you're still behind her, after a kiss or two she's back to blazing the trails! Ruby has been introduced to cats and even though a bit curious, she was still a little too timid to give more than a nose kiss before backing away into a safe zone where no kitties could harm her!

Completed applications may be emailed to adopt@pawsshelter.org. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, PAWS will help find a match for you. All that we ask is that you give our animals happy, loving forever homes. We encourage you to talk to our staff about the kind of pet you are looking for. They know the animals and will help you find your personality match. If you find a dog or cat that you like, then we encourage you to spend some time bonding with them before you make up your mind. We have special areas at the shelter where you can walk and play with them to get to know them better.
