Ruby Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Medfield, MA

Ruby has found her forever home with Philip and Arielle of Acton.

This magnificent beauty is Ruby. She is a 5 year old, 70+ pound Belgian Malinois. She came into rescue after her owner went off to jail. She lived with 4 other dogs, all of whom have found forever homes. Now it is Ruby's turn to bring a lucky owner lots of joy. As with the other 4 dogs in the home, Ruby was brought up in a very loving environment. She has the sweet temperament of a Cocker Spaniel but she is a lot more intelligent, larger and more athletic. A big baby is how her foster describes her. Malinois' are a popular breed. They are not only used in the security field but are used in the service field. Ruby is extremely well socialized with people and other dogs. There are cats in her current foster home and is good with them. She loves to run and play with other dogs and she is over the moon when she gets to meet new people. Ruby is house, crate trained and does well on leash. Malinois are loyal, velcro dogs. She will require good exercise and someone who is around more often than not. This girl is a gem and is as sweet as they come. She is not here for you to meet prior to adopting. Her adoption fee is $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
