Meet Ruby, a beautiful 11⁄2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and lots of love to give. With her soft black-and-tan coat, soulful eyes, and sweet personality, Ruby is the kind of dog who quietly works her way right into your heart. At about 58 pounds, she is a lovely large girl, but underneath her size is a shy and tender spirit that is simply hoping to find a family to call her own.Ruby enjoys simple pleasures, such as playtime in the yard, tasty treats, and spending time with the people she loves most. Although she gets along well with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to many different types of families. She also does well residing with cats. Like many young dogs, she is still learning about leash walking but has mastered her crate training, and house training. She is a smart girl and willing to please. It is important to remember that although Ruby is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment.
