Ruby 's Story

💎 — a five-month-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix with a one-of-a-kind look and a whole lot of heart and character 😁

Ruby is a gorgeous girl 😍who turns heads and steals the hearts of everyone she meets. She’s playful and happy with classic puppy energy, especially when balls and toys are involved (seriously… throw it again). When playtime is over, Ruby is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She’s smart, inquisitive, and enjoys learning new things—she wants to know everything and be part of it too.

Ruby is a quiet superstar: she doesn’t bark or cry when crated or even when she’s in a different room from everyone else. But don’t get her wrong, she wants nothing more than to be a part of the family. She has not been destructive of her beds or toys. She is crate trained and about 95% house trained already. We are working on counter surfing and jumping up on everything and humans. Around new dogs, Ruby can be a little nervous at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet, playful personality shines through.

Ruby is available for adoption through Hearts of Paws Trap and Rescue. She is scheduled for her spay surgery and will be up-to-date on vaccinations next week. If you’re looking for a loving, smart, and beautifully unique puppy to play, love on and chill with —Ruby might just be your perfect match 🐾💖
