Ruby is a beautiful girl that was found as a stray on the streets of Cleveland. She is so happy to be safe and warm with her foster family, and can't wait to finally find her forever home!<br/><br><br><br/>Ruby is very affectionate, and absolutely thrives on attention from her people! (Adults and children alike!) She tends to snort like a pig when she's excited, and will rub against your legs like a cat in order for you to pet her! =) She also LOVES belly rubs, and would happily lay on her back and let you pet her all day!<br/><br><br><br/>Ruby is a smart girl that is eager to please her human counter part, and is quickly able to decipher wrong from right. She is also very eager to learn, and would make an excellent candidate for Canine Good Citizen or other obedience training.<br/><br><br><br/>Ruby is crate trained and exhibits no separation anxiety what so ever. She sleeps, eats, and occasionally will just lay in her crate when she needs a break from playing with her foster dad's other dog.<br/><br><br><br/>Ruby is great with other dogs, but does get a little nervous if they're around her while she eats. This is easily corrected, and her foster dad is working with her to help her understand that she doesn't have to worry about another dog stealing her food ever again! She does not have problems with humans around while she eats, though. Her foster dad has had his hands in her food bowl while she was eating with no problems.<br/><br><br><br/>Ruby is approx. 9 months old, is currently 41lbs., (don't let her pictures fool you! She looks much larger in them then she actually is!) and is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. She is crate-trained, housetrained, and is working on basic obedience in her foster home.
