Ruby's Story

Meet Ruby, a true gem looking for her forever home. Ruby is a sweet, affectionate girl who thrives on being with her people. Shell gaze up at you with her stunning eyes, one blue eye and one brown, melting your heart and reminding you just how loved you are. Ruby is now in a Foster Home and we are learning more about her - she is house trained and sleeps quietly through the night on her dog bed. She has very polite leash manners and is well mannered on a leisurely stroll, but she thinks a romp with other playful dogs is even better. While in foster Ruby has enjoyed beach walks and playdates with neighborhood dogs. Dogs 20 pounds and up are a good match for her.

Like many huskies, Ruby will do best in a home without cats or other small animals. A fenced yard is will keep her safe while she stretches her legs and explores. Ruby is happiest when she's part of the action so a household where someone is home most of the time will be a good match for her. She prefers gentle interactions, so she will do best with dog-savvy kids 12 years and older who can respect her boundaries. If your'e looking for a fun-loving, loyal and devoted companion who will be by your side through it all, Ruby might just be your perfect match.

Ready for your next best friend?
