Rubie's Story

Rubie is a beautiful Westie/Poodle mix, about 9 years old and weighs about 16 lbs. Her previous owners dumped her at a high kill shelter with major medical issues. The shelter took care of a mass removal that she had, along with a hernia. She still needs correction of her cherry eye and dental work which we are going to take care of for her. She is doing very well at her Foster home, she loves to cuddle and go on walks, follows her Foster Mom everywhere and likes her belly rubbed. She absolutely LOVES car rides, gets along with other dogs but prefers to be with her humans. Rubie is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting an Adopt Me Rescue dog, please visit our website and fill out our adoption application www.adoptmerescue.org. We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization. All our dogs are Vet-checked, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption. There is an adoption fee and e-mail us with the dogs name and we can tell you how much their adoption fee is. Remember we are a non profit and all adoption fees are tax deductible.
