She is a five year old Jindo mix who is very smart and is highly responsive to commands! Roy was rescued as a stray and has made a HUGE recovery since her rescue. Roy is super shy and needs a little time to warm up to her future paw parents, but once she warms up to you, she LOVES getting pets and cuddles! Roy does not have separation anxiety, but she does get nervous and shy around new people (including children) and dogs, but she just needs a little time to get comfortable. Roy is a chill dog, but she becomes energetic when she goes on walks because she LOVES her walks! Roy has a high prey drive and loves to chase small animals such as squirrels and rabbits.Roy loves to eat meat, but she doesn’t like eating veggies! Roy is sweet, affectionate, and loving, but just needs a little time to warm up! All she asks from her future family is to be patient with her while she adjusts and gets comfortable with her new home and family! ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: • US residents only • 24 years of age (drivers license or passport required as a form of ID) • All children are age 6 or older • No restrictions on pets by landlord (must receive written consent) • Provide photos of your home, including bedroom • Financially willing and able to properly care for dog for remainder of its life • Must create separate IG account for adopted dog - to provide updates ADOPTION PROCESS (1-2 weeks): • Fill out the adoption application below with a specific dog(s) you wish to adopt from @KpupsForLove • Adoption screening interview via phone call with our team ONLY IF your application reflects our criteria • Reference checks • After screening steps, you will be notified ONLY IF your adoption application is approved • Our volunteers will work with you to finalize the adoption - sharing your new dog’s medical records, scheduling a date of your dog’s arrival, and sending detailed pick-up instructions.
