Roy's Story
Meet Roy, a 10-12 week old puppy with the sweetest puppy eyes - they melt you, truly. He was found as a stray and went unclaimed, if you can believe a puppy as young as he is could be on his own in rural Texas - but he was, until a Good Samaritan got him to safety and later, to BDRP.

Roy is a gentle boy that, at least for now, is on the lower-medium energy scale. He’s a pretty chill fellow, especially for a puppy his age. The general exception is when the treat jar comes out - he can barely contain his enthusiasm for a snack. He really enjoys being around other dogs and will participate in some wrestling and tug ‘o war with his favorite rope toy. He’s learning how to walk on leash and potties outside, as long as he’s kept on a schedule.

Roy is just under 3 months old and weighs 22 lbs. He will be arriving in New Jersey on 11/7

If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please complete our NE application using the link below -

https://bigdogrescueproject.org/adopt/adopt-ne/
