Roxy's Story

I'm Roxy, a 6 year old female Boxer. I'm a gem, enjoying some quiet time, easy on lead, take treats gently, house trained and crate trained, extremely calm, sweet and compliant, working on sit and come, a champion sleeper, great in the car, inquisitive about our neighbor dogs and wiggle my bum (wanna play?). I'll make a great companion.

My foster adds: Roxy's super power is finding and rejecting pills from kibble and cheese, tho peanut butter may be her kryptonite! She'll steal your side of the bed, your heating pad and your heart. This girl is so sweet, mellow and well behaved. She is nearly perfect on lead, walks at a good clip, checks in often and pauses at intersections. We let her free roam for a few hours and other than getting on a chair to peek out the front window (can you blame her), she was perfect. She was fantastic meeting our Corgi Grand-dog, SO HAPPY to have a playmate and amazing with the little one. Honestly, my heart melted to see Roxy so joyful!

********PLEASE READ BELOW PRIOR TO EMAILING IN**********

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other from our rescue, please go to https://www.hobocare.org/adopt to review our home requirements and fill out an application. Please do not email and ask for more information on how to adopt, all the information is already available online. The information you see here is all that is currently available about this dog. No boxers are adopted without a completed application and home check. Thank you!
