Roxy's Story

Roxy truly lives up to her name—she’s a spunky, sweet girl with the most lovable personality. She is incredibly affectionate and cuddly, but also confident enough to hold her own with other small dogs.

She’s obedient and eager to please, and one of her cutest quirks is how she sits with her little paw lifted—it melts your heart every time. She’ll even walk on her hind legs occasionally, which adds to her charm.

Roxy does wonderfully sleeping in her crate through the night and is making great progress with leash walking. She is learning to potty outside, though she still uses pee pads at times.

She absolutely LOVES kids and would thrive in a home with gentle children to play and bond with. She gets along well with other dogs. While she can be a bit timid around men at first, she warms up quickly with a gentle, soft-spoken approach—she came around in no time.

Roxy can be sensitive to loud noises, but she settles quickly once she feels safe and secure. She’s generally a quiet girl, only barking occasionally when she hears something new or follows the lead of another dog. She enjoys playing with small tennis balls, going on walks, and being held close—she’s just as happy snuggled up as she is playing. Roxy is truly the sweetest girl and will make a loving, joyful addition to the right home. 💛

Please apply at www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down till it appears.
