Roxy's Story
Introducing Roxy!

Meet Roxy who seems to answer better to Sheba/Reba a 7-year-old, 7-pound Yorkie mix, who has officially earned her Master's Degree in Stage 5 Clinger. Her favorite place in the world? Your arms. This little girl just wants to be held and loved.

Roxy's story is heartbreaking. When her family moved, they left her behind to fend for herself. Thankfully, those days are over. Now all she wants is a forever home where she'll never have to wonder if she's going to be abandoned again.

She's the sweetest little girl who loves to snuggle and has recently discovered that giving kisses is pretty wonderful too, and she's handing them out generously!

Roxy is doing great in foster care. She gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and has previously lived with cats. She's not quite fully housebroken yet and will occasionally use pee pads while her foster is at work, but she's making progress every day.

She got her hair did today at Camp Belly Rub and was such a good girl! She was a little nervous, and we honestly think it may have been one of the first baths she's ever had. (We included before photos so you can see how cute she is with long and short hair).

She rides like an absolute champ in the car and is learning that walks on a leash can actually be fun. Like everything else in her new life, she's just getting used to it.

Our adoption requirements:
Heartworm prevention is non-negotiable. If you do not provide year-round heartworm preventative, please do not apply. We take veterinary care very seriously. We require an interview, home visit, vet check and two references.
Must be willing to travel to meet and adopt her.
Preference will be given to homes with a securely fenced yard.

Roxy is currently being fostered in the Kingston area and is ready to find the family who will love her for the rest of her life.

Could that be you?
https://www.jotform.com/form/221695001050139
