She enjoys being engaged and has the energy and athleticism to join you on walks, hikes, adventures, and playtime. She also enjoys sturdy chew toys, which help keep her occupied and provide a healthy outlet for her energy.</p><br/><br/><p>She knows the commands "sit," "come," and "down," and responds especially well when treats are involved. Roxy is crate-trained and settles nicely in her crate after she has had a chance to burn off some energy. Roxy has done well around other dogs during walks and has demonstrated excellent play skills with a neighborhood German Shepherd. She enjoys appropriate play wrestling and has shown that she can interact positively with canine friends.</p><br/><br/><p>Like many young, enthusiastic dogs, Roxy is still working on her manners. She has made significant progress with jumping up on people and mouthing during play, but she will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her build consistency.
