Roxy's Story

🐾 Meet Roxy – Tiny, Loyal & Looking for Her Person 🐾

Roxy is a 5-month-old, 9 lb Fox Terrier / Chihuahua mix with a big personality in a small package 💕 She’s great with kids, loves other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and is fully crate trained—an amazing foundation for such a young pup!

Roxy is also a sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in new situations. She can be nervous with unfamiliar adults and may growl or react if someone approaches her too quickly. Because of this, she needs an adopter who will respect her boundaries and allow her to build trust at her own pace.

This isn’t a flaw—it’s just part of who she is. With patience, understanding, and proper introductions, Roxy forms strong bonds and becomes an incredibly loyal and loving companion ❤️

✨ Roxy’s highlights:
• 5 months old 🐶
• 9 lbs – small and easy to travel with 🐾
• Great with kids (with proper supervision) 🧒
• Dog-friendly 🐕
• Crate trained ✅
• Walks well on a leash 🦮
• Deeply loyal once she trusts you

🏡 Ideal home:
Roxy would do best in a home with someone who has experience with shy or nervous dogs, or is committed to learning. She needs a calm environment, slow introductions to new people, and an adopter who will advocate for her space.

🚫 Not a good fit for someone looking for an instant “social butterfly” dog.
✅ Perfect for someone who wants to build a meaningful bond and watch a dog truly blossom.

If you’re patient, kind, and ready to earn the trust of a special little dog, Roxy will reward you with a lifetime of love 💖

📩 Message us to learn more or apply to adopt Roxy! Serious inquiries only.

Her adoption fee will come with a voucher to have her spayed at one of the local facilities that we use. She is up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea prevention. She has been vetted, dewormed and micro chipped.

Adoption fee 350.00
