United Humanitarians/Jr. Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters must fill out an application, have the application approved by a volunteer, and agree to a home visit before adopting. Puppies under 6 months old have a $150+ adoption fee. Puppies and dogs over 6 months are $125+. The fee covers the costs for the animal being up to date on shots, fixed, current on flea and heartworm medication, and any other previous vet care.

Our Mission

The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For over 30 years, we have helped animals in the Gulf Coast area. All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a furever home, JHS provides all necessary vet care, including but not limited to: sh...
