She was given exactly what she needed: time, patience, structure, guidance, and the chance to simply realize she was safe.<br/><br/>And once she did?<br/><br/>The real Roxy started to shine.<br/><br/>If you’re sitting in a chair, she’ll quietly put her paws up, rest her head on your chest, and look right into your eyes. She is loving, sweet, and incredibly connected to her people once she trusts them.<br/><br/>She’s also one of the smartest dogs we’ve ever met. And after thousands of animals over the years, that’s saying something.<br/><br/>Roxy thrives when she has purpose. She loves learning, being included, and knowing what’s expected of her. She isn’t looking for a life spent on the sidelines—she wants to be part of the adventure.<br/><br/>A fenced yard and a dog friend would be wonderful, but what Roxy really wants is a person. Someone kind, consistent, and willing to build a partnership with her.<br/><br/>Off leash, she’s incredible. Attentive, engaged, and always checking in.
