ROXY's Story

Meet ROXY! She is a 65#, 1-year-old (DOB 03/21/2025), Rottweiler / Blue Heeler mixed girl who is sweet, loving, and smart!

***HERDING BREED / LARGE DOG EXPERIENCE PREFERRED***

Roxy is a nice girl with a happy disposition. She loves her people, and will always have a smile for you. She is a great companion and family dog, who enjoys toys (especially her rubber chicken), yard play, walks, and hanging out for cuddles and pets. She loads up, and enjoys car rides.

Roxy lived in her previous home with children 8-12, and enjoys their company and their ability to throw the ball! Roxy had puppies at one point, and lived well with an older GSD male. Cat's and small animals are unknown, however she is a Herding breed, so a prey drive is a possibility. An active family would be her best fit. A secure fenced yard is required to keep her safe and happy.

If you have any other questions, email is the best method of communication. We are 100% volunteer-run and operated and are open by appointment only. Please send us an email or submit an application if you'd like to make an appointment we'll be in touch as soon as we can!
