Roxie Rose's Story

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Roxie Rose is a 3 year old female Frenchie that is overweight at 24 pounds because someone really spoiled her with human food in her previous home. She needs to lose about 5 pounds. But she is a very happy girl and she simply adores being around people. For sure she is a velcro dog, she follows you everywhere especially the kitchen in hopes of you dropping some food for her.
Roxie Rose had a home but they could not provide the care she needed for dog wounds, a cherry eye and a hematoma in her right ear. All of her medical needs have been addressed and she does not need any medications or medical attention now. She is still healing from her cherry eye surgery and has a follow up appointment on Wednessday, November 20. She can go to her new home after her vet appointment.
We are taking applications for her now. If you are interested in adopting Roxie Rose, please submit an application on the website below.
Oh yeah, if you want a dog to walk with you Roxie Rose is not that girl, she will walk just a few steps and stop to be picked up. She walks great on a leash while she has her harness on but she is not a fan of exercise!! She does like to watch TV, she really pays attention to the shows.
These pictures are of her before her surgery and the day of her surgery. We will get more pictures of her. Thank you.
www.roxysk9rescue.org

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED

Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
