Meet Roxie, a loving and playful young pup who is ready to take on the world with her new family! Her owner ended her own life and left Roxie with nowhere to go. The previous owner had her kennel trained but did little else in the way of training. She has been working with her temp foster and responds really well to consistent training. Roxie is young and exuberant so she will need lots of exercise. She is a curious and friendly girl who is always up for an adventure and will charm you with her affectionate nature. Roxie loves to cuddle but is working on not indiscriminately jumping on furniture. She's an intelligent and athletic dog, full of life and energy, and will be a loyal companion for all your daily activities. She walks well on leash but does have a prey drive, so no cats! At the present time, she must be kenneled inside a car due to chewing, but is eager to earn treats for good behavior. She is good with other dogs but does want to be the leader of any pack. Tug of war and fetch are favorite past-times. With her playful spirit and affectionate nature, she's sure to bring joy and laughter to your home. Older school aged children, teens, and adults would be ideal. Roxie is eager to find her forever family and will be a devoted friend to whoever adopts her.
