Meet Roxie!<br/><br/>Roxie is an adorable little Shih Tzu girl, about 2 years old and just 9 pounds. She’s a true gem—happy, funny, and full of sweet, playful energy!<br/><br/>Roxie loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She currently sleeps in a crate but would much rather snuggle up with her person or a doggy sibling. While not a clingy lap dog, she’s very affectionate and always likes to relax close by.<br/><br/>She enjoys short bursts of playtime (including zoomies!) followed by curling up on a cozy couch, chair, or dog bed. Roxie loves walks, being outdoors, and riding in the car. She’s doing very well with house training and understands that potty time is outside.<br/><br/>She can be a little sensitive to loud noises but is improving every day. Roxie sleeps through the night, rarely barks, and is an easy, wonderful companion.<br/><br/>Roxie would do best in a calm home, ideally with another dog and someone home most of the day. Due to her small size, a home without young children is preferred.<br/><br/>Adoption $500<br/><br/>All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.<br/><br/>Our application process:<br/>FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.<br/>SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
