Roxie is the sweet, affectionate half of a bonded senior dachshund pair. At just 10 pounds, she's a true lap dog who loves cuddles and being close to her people. She's a quiet girl who rarely barks, but when she does, her surprisingly big voice makes her an excellent little watchdog!<br/><br/>Originally from St. Thomas, Roxie prefers warmth over cold and snow. She has claimed the back of the sofa by a sunny window as her favorite spot for naps when she's not seeking pets or reminding you it's mealtime. She and her companion Sonnie are crated at night and settle in easily, often heading straight to the crate on their own when they're tired. She communicates her needs clearly; when she has to go outside, she'll pace and make soft grunting sounds.
