Arrival Story: Came to Waggin’ Tails via owner surrender.

Approximate Age/Weight: 1.5 years old / 18 lbs.

Personality: Roxie’s her name and cuddling is her game. She’s an expert! Roxie is a little bit on the shy side but comes out of her shell to run around the yard with her canine bestie, Gibson, and play with her favorite toddler, Noah. She’s learning the basics in her foster home and is treat-motivated. Our pint-sized cutie can get into trouble without proper supervision as she does like to chew. A young dog craves mental and physical stimulation so we know Roxie would thrive with a pet parent who likes to play, provides chew toys, and go for walks. Miss Roxie has also proven to be a crate-escaper. Nothing a few extra hooks or zip ties hasn’t solved.

Roxie is good at the vet’s office and a little unsure about car rides. She likes other dogs but is very cautious so a confident, laid-back canine pal would be ideal for her.

Forever Home: Roxie is looking for a person / family with a gentle nature like hers that would enjoy some fun, walks, and most of all, cuddles! No electric fences, please.
