Hi there, I’m Roxie! I’m a beautiful 3.5-year-old buff Cocker Spaniel girl, 16 pounds of love and loyalty. My previous family adored me but had to make the heartbreaking decision to find me a new home due to health issues. It wasn’t easy for any of us, but the nice ladies here at FCCR said they would help me find a new forever home and write the next chapter of my story! <br/><br/>I am a total homebody who believes in being close to her human — like, really close. I will follow you everywhere, sleep right up against you, and basically be your most devoted shadow. I already know “sit” and “paw,” so yes, I am basically a genius. I’m fully house trained, have never needed a crate, and I am an absolute rockstar on long car trips. Road trip buddy? That’s me. <br/><br/>When it comes to fun, I am ALL about my tennis ball, my chew toys, and honestly any small toy you put in front of me. A monthly Bark Box? Yes please, I will absolutely lose my mind with excitement. I also love a good run in the yard and get plenty of walks to burn off my energy. Treats and food? Don’t even get me started. <br/><br/>I’ll be upfront — I do best as the star of the show (ONLY PET). I’m not great with little kids or cats, and big dogs make me a little barky. Teens are totally fine with me though! I’m best suited for a home where I can be the one and only pet and the center of attention — which, honestly, I feel like I deserve. I can be shy with new people at first, but talk to me in a soft, calm voice and I will warm right up, I promise. <br/><br/>I am in good health and easily take my monthly ear flush to keep me in tip top shape. I am a happy girl and ready to be somebody’s whole world. All I need is a cozy couch, a tennis ball, a lap to curl up in, and someone who will love me as fiercely as I will love them.
