What is Humane Society of Independence County’s adoption process?

Thank you for considering adopting a pet in need!  When you adopt a shelter animals, you save 2 lives; the animal you adopt and the one you made room for by adopting.  Our main priority is to match the right pet to the right home;  we want to do our best to make sure our pets find their loving, forever homes the first time around.  Our adoption process helps ensure a lifetime of love and compatibility for both the pet and the adopter.  When you find a pet you are interested in adopting, come by our shelter, call us, or send us an email!  We are always happy to talk about homes for our pets!       Our shelter is located at #5 Environmental Drive (along Hwy 167 North, adjacent to the Recycling Center) in beautiful Batesville, Arkansas!
