Rowena

Meet Rowena!
Rowena came into the shelter on October 2nd as a stray.
Rowena is the sweetest girl anyone could ask for. She has no idea what a stranger is and believes that she was put on this earth to make new friends with everyone. Even though she has classic puppy behaviors, this girl is kind, gentle, and very well-behaved, despite being so young. She is willing to do anything to earn your affection and is fantastic at keeping a clean kennel.
Rowena walks well on a leash, loves a good chewy cookie, and has three different friends in her playgroup right now. She really knows how to bring a shy pup out of their shell! She does know tricks like sit and shake and is currently mastering her stay command.
Our staff says that they love how nicely Rowena will ask for snuggles and a belly rub. They love how all she wants in life is for you to sit on the floor, couch, bed, etc., and let her be as close to you as possible. If that wasn’t enough, she looks up at you and practically speaks to you with her eyes. She is a storyteller and wants you to be the one to hear them all!
Come meet Rowena today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.
