I know I am loved...by the new people I find myself surrounded by and my former owner, who had no choice and tried desperately to find a home for me. But it's loud and scary for me right now, and I don't want to stay here for very long. <br/> <br/>I'm an easy-keeper...my energy level is relatively low and probably my favorite activity is sleeping. I am great on a leash and like to be taken on walks so I can then have a really good nap! <br/>I love people and appreciate affection. Sometimes I will nudge you with my head if you forget to pet me or take your hand away from me. I like knowing you are there for me. Everyone who has met me has talked about how sweet and loving I am. <br/><br/>I can be sweet and loving for you, too.<br/>I am a really, really good boy.<br/>I want to feel safe and secure again.<br/>I don't want to stay in the shelter.<br/>Please adopt me and give me another wonderful, loving home. <br/><br/>Breed: Boxer / Terrier mix<br/>Age: 7 yrs<br/>Weight: Currently around 57 lbs. <br/>Fitness: Low<br/>Kids: Older and/or calmer kids only<br/>Other Dogs / Animals: Gets along well with other dogs.<br/>Special Requests: A calm environment with a fenced in yard so he can get some exercise before coming in to snuggle on his bed or with you on the couch.<br/><br/>All HSWA dogs available for adoption are up-to-date on vet care, are heartworm-negative, have been (or will be) spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.<br/>Our adoption fee is $125.
